Welcome to The Buffalo Readings Homepage Saturday, December 06 2025 @ 07:30 pm PST
One of the brightest minds of any time has passed on. He was awe struck by the magic of life, and in his expression of this he inspired every scientist and science dreamer in a special way that hadn't existed in popular culture since the days of Jules Verne. Besides being a preeminent science fiction writer, he invented the concept of the geostationary communications satellite, the basis of all modern broadcast media, communications, and global positioning systems.
I found these while doing research for Pete's Basement, the comic book podcast I'm working on with Dave and some friends. Check out these guys 360 degree video, and then the awesome napoleon one, and oh yeah the bear one too:
Remember to come on out this Saturday March 1st for a night of Poetry & Music!
Alas, we don't have the new schedule at the Bowery Poetry Club yet, but we do have a new gig this very Sunday afternoon at the 5C Cafe! This one is gonna be a great little old school poetry reading featuring the Buffalo Poets at a great coffee shop/cultural center down on Ave C & 5th ST on NYC's Lower East Side. Susan Kramer from FLIP is hosting us at the event and don't be surprised if another member or two from FLIP comes down to play a note or few. Come on down, grab some coffee, some food and sit down to a nice Sunday afternoon of poetry, sunshine and jazz vocals.
Hi all,
A Night of Poetry and Peoplemusic:
Hi everyone!
Every time King Otho and I bring this up every one starts bugging out like they haven't heard this about South Korean scientists making cats that glow.
